The Last of Us Part I has received a new hotfix, version v1.0.1.7, which is now available to players. For those using NVIDIA 30-series graphics cards, it is important to update to the GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 531.58 to prevent game crashes during gameplay.

Aside from the GPU issue, the hotfix also includes fixes for UI/UX and unintended character behavior for both playable and non-playable characters. Additionally, diagnostic support has been added to help provide further insight for developers.

Some of the specific issues that have been addressed in this hotfix include erroneous stick inputs on Xbox controllers, improper selections in the Graphics menu under Settings, and crashes related to toggling between Fullscreen and Windowed modes.

The update also includes a new feature that prompts users to enable additional GPU diagnostic tooling following a GPU-related crash. However, this feature is optional and only enabled for the current gameplay session.

Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy are actively monitoring player reports and working on future improvements and patches to optimize game stability and implement additional fixes. These updates will be included in regularly released future updates.
