These consumables function as the game’s skill points, enabling you to unlock abilities, enhance Kliff’s stats, and serve as a crucial material for gear refinement. Among the various methods to acquire them, solving intricate puzzles within the Abyss offers a reliable path. One such challenge is the Disconnected Truth, a massive floating diamond encountered after progressing through a sequence of Abyss islands. Locating and Entering the Disconnected Truth
Your journey begins at a small island positioned opposite the large, diamond-shaped structure. Activate the Abyss Gate on this platform and then move to its edge. Below, you will spot a fan oriented toward the main island. Leap from the platform, activate your glide ability directly over the fan to gain a powerful boost, and aim for the small opening at the base of the central structure to gain entry.
Restoring Power to the First Chamber
Upon entering the initial chamber, direct your attention slightly to the right of the central podium. A disconnected wire lies on the floor here. Approach the yellow conduit within the large cable and press your interact button to restore power. Once the connection is made, step onto the podium to be elevated to the next floor of the puzzle.
Navigating the Upper Floor and Underground Section
After ascending, wait for the sides of the island to open. You will see three switches; only one is initially active. Note this location for later. Use Axiom Force on the lit switch to establish power to its cable. From the switches, turn right and locate a hole in the floor within a side alcove. Drop down into this opening.
Securing Hidden Treasure
Before proceeding right after the drop, look to your left to find a small gap. Crouch and squeeze through this opening. Inside this hidden side room awaits a treasure chest containing a Faded Abyss Artifact and, more importantly, an Insight Level 3 Abyss Gear. This gear grants any weapon Critical Rate Level 3, making it one of the most powerful weapon enhancements available.
Rerouting Power Underground
In the underground section, follow the path until you make your first turn to the right. A short distance down the connected hall, you will find another disconnected conduit. Interact with it to reroute power, then continue following the cables until you find a route leading up some stairs and out of the underground area.
Acquiring and Placing the First Abyss Core
At the top of the stairs, you will face a large inverted triangle. Along its right side, a glowing blue Abyss Core is visible. Hop onto the nearby platform, perform a double jump by pressing R3 in mid-air, and glide close to the core. While airborne, use Axiom Force to grab the Abyss Core and maneuver it toward the walkways surrounding the triangle.
Your next objective is a large column featuring a wheel on either side. Bring the Abyss Core to the slot in front of this column and use Force Palm to push it into place. This action restores power to the central switch on the ground floor. Return to the ground floor and activate this now-powered center switch using Axiom Force.
Retrieving and Positioning the Second Abyss Core
From the trio of switches on the first floor, look left this time. Just outside the adjacent alcove, you will find a conduit on the floor. Interact with it to reconnect the cables on both sides. With power restored, look into the alcove and use Axiom Force to detach the square Abyss Core attached to a column. Move this core upward through the gap in the alcove’s roof and climb up after it.
Directly ahead from the hole you emerged from, you will see another large machine. A spotlight illuminates a slot for the Abyss Core on its right side. Use Force Palm to push the core into this slot. Immediately in front of this machine, you will find one final conduit that requires fixing. Interact with it to complete the power circuit.
Completing the Puzzle and Claiming the Reward
Establishing power to this final conduit activates the last of the three smaller switches. Hit it with Axiom Force. This action will power up the large central switch positioned above the three smaller ones. Climb up to this large switch and use Force Palm to press it in, thereby completing the Disconnected Truth puzzle. Your final task is to ascend the platforms of the inverted triangle to reach the altar at the very top, where your hard-earned Abyss Artifact awaits.
