Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san Anime Reveals Cast, Staff, and July 2026 Premiere

The upcoming television anime adaptation of “Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san” (also known as “Kamui-san in the Back”) has generated significant excitement with a major announcement revealing its cast, staff, and premiere window. Produced by the Deregula animation label under WWWave Corporation, the series is scheduled to premiere in July 2026. This supernatural story, which began as an erotic manga serialized on Ura Sunday and MangaONE in 2020, is now poised to make its animated debut with a talented team behind it.

Star-Studded Cast and Key Creative Team

Heading the voice cast is the renowned Tomokazu Sugita, known for his roles in “Sakamoto Days” and many other iconic series, who will bring the enigmatic character Kamui to life. He will be joined by Riko Aono as Shizuka Mimizuka, Shiori Izawa as Inagawa, Yuuka Aisaka as Kyouko, and Mao Ichimichi as Oichi. Directing the series is Hiroshi Negishi, with Motofumi Nakajou handling series composition and Toshinari Yamashita leading character design. The production will be a collaboration between studios Zero-G and ZG-R, overseen by the Deregula production committee.
