Activities within the Night Market are diverse, ranging from battling powerful Faceted, Brazen, Argent, and Calamitous monsters to participating in daring races, solving puzzles called Oddities, and engaging in new public-style Skirmishes. The ultimate challenges are 4-player boss instances in each district and a culminating 12-player trial called The Opulent Ordeal.<\/p>\n
Rewards for participation are substantial. Players earn Favor with their chosen faction to unlock vendor purchases and Boons\u2014stackable, powerful effects. A key reward is the Night’s Den, a new home earned via an introductory quest that features a direct entrance to the Night Market. Completing activities also unlocks 61 new achievements, including six titles and three unique dyes, alongside collectible Mementos and furnishings.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the most transformative addition is the Tamriel Tome system, replacing the previous Endeavors and Daily Login Rewards. Launching on April 2, this battle pass-style system rewards engagement with all ESO content through a seasonal Tome that lasts the duration of Season Zero.<\/p>\n
Progression is driven by completing Weekly and Seasonal Challenges to earn Tome Points, which unlock pages of rewards on both a Free and a Premium Track. The system includes a catch-up mechanic, allowing up to 12 Weekly Challenges to accumulate. A new currency, Trade Bars, replaces Event Tickets (converted at a 1:100 ratio) and is earned primarily from the Tamriel Tome. These bars are spent at the new Gold Coast Bazaar, a gameplay currency-driven store within the Crown Store UI featuring mounts, pets, and outfits previously tied to events and promotions.<\/p>\n
Update 1.019 addresses long-standing player requests with a suite of quality-of-life improvements. Notably, Outfit Slots are now account-wide, with a maximum of 10 slots.
