After the Frostwave season in Heartopia, it’s time for a warmer festival to grace the island. The Dreamlight Cinematics Festival brings a classic cinema-themed event that lasts over a month, featuring all-new rewards and challenges unfolding each week. This guide provides a comprehensive breakdown of where to find the new collectibles, including the special Bee and Octopus locations, how to earn festival tokens, and details on new crops, recipes, and foraging items. From the Old Sea in the mountains to the Fishing Village in the south, we’ll show you everything you need to know to get all the new rewards before the season ends.<\/p>\n

Where To Find Azure<\/h2>\n

While she could be found near Onsen Mountain during the last season, Azure has now moved to the street between Dorothy’s clothing store and the research building. You can sell her event exclusive items, like crops, fish, and insects, to get tokens for fabulous prizes. Below is a list of everything you can earn through her shop.<\/p>\n

Additionally, you can earn experience by completing daily and weekly tasks, allowing you to level up and claim more rewards. Everyone can participate for free, but even more rewards are available if you buy a Festival Pack with real money.<\/p>\n

Where To Find The Toy Octo Entertainments<\/h2>\n

During the event period, you can collect special octopus variants. They’re located in the Whale Sea, to the east of the island. Here, you can fish for them with your standard fishing rod. Take a look at the table below to see more details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The fish are available at all times of day, and you don’t need to pay for the Deep Sea Fishing event to get them. To participate in the seasonal event where these fish are more likely to appear, speak with Vanya on the western side of the map, along the shore by the Windmill Flower Field. There, you can initiate a new seasonal fishing event to find the fifth and final Director Octopus. The final octopus can only be found during the Octo Entertainment fishing event hosted by Vanya.<\/p>\n

Where To Find The Script Supervisor Bees<\/h2>\n

Speak with Naniwa by Whale Mountain to start the Script Supervisor bug event, which increases the likelihood of finding these bees! Additionally, in the bonus wave, you can catch the elusive gold bee for display in your home.<\/p>\n

Where To Find The Actor Doves<\/h2>\n

During the event, there are also unique doves to find in the forest to the east. These pigeon look-alikes are dressed in fine little suits and hide amongst the foliage. While you can find them at any time during the day, it’s easiest to find them during the special bird watching event hosted by Bailey J.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Where To Get The Dreamlight Cinematics Festival Recipes<\/h2>\n

When you log in the first time to start the event, you’ll get a call from Atara. After that, you can access the event menu and collect a reward: the Popcorn Serving Cart! This will make all the specialty dishes and drinks during the event period. However, you won’t be able to make anything until you buy the recipes. Massimo has them available in town, so visit him outside his restaurant to browse the recipes and start experimenting.<\/p>\n

All Dreamlight Cinematics Festival Crops And Flowers<\/h2>\n

Finally, you can find Blanc outside his shop in town and purchase new seeds from him. These include crops and flowers. While there’s only one new crop for the season, there are two others you’ll want to invest in to make the most of the in-game event.<\/p>\n

The only event crop is Romaine Lettuce, which takes 15 minutes to grow. However, other recipes available for this event require a large amount of corn and potatoes. Make sure to plant some of these as well to fill out your collections and make plenty of extras to decorate your own movie theater! For more complex dishes, you’ll need foraging items like Tall Mustard!<\/p>\n

Dreamlight Cinematics Festival Flowers<\/h3>\n

For this season, the new flower is Dandelions! They come in red, white, and yellow, and can be crossbred for additional colors. They take one full day to grow, so make sure to plant them proactively to get as many as you can before the season ends.<\/p>\n
