Nicholas ‘Jynxzi’ Stewart, a popular Twitch streamer, is hosting a major content creator tournament for League of Legends, featuring a surprising and high-profile list of participants. The event, scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026, will bring together 40 streamers, many of whom are relatively new to the iconic MOBA game. Jynxzi himself only recently started playing LoL and has already experienced the full spectrum of the game’s community, from receiving a behavioral warning for intentionally poor performance to having an account permanently banned and subsequently restored by Riot Games. This tournament is designed to be both competitive and entertaining, with a unique rule set to balance the playing field: each team is allowed only one Challenger-ranked player, who must be limited to playing a support role on a low-damage champion. This ensures that the event remains accessible and fun for the many creators who are not seasoned LoL veterans.

The star-studded roster for Jynxzi’s tournament includes some of the biggest names in online entertainment. Confirmed participants feature YouTube titan James ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson and streaming personalities like Ludwig Ahgren and Charlie ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White Jr. The line-up also includes prominent figures from the esports scene, such as former LCS pro Yiliang ‘Doublelift’ Peng and fellow pro Eugene ‘Pobelter’ Park. This blend of massive mainstream creators and respected esports veterans creates a unique crossover event that is likely to draw significant viewership from both gaming and general online audiences. The inclusion of personalities like Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang and Tyler1 further cements the tournament as a major moment in content creator gaming.

Beyond the spectacle, this tournament highlights the deepening relationship between top streamers and the League of Legends ecosystem. Several participants, like Ludwig and MoistCr1TiKaL, are co-owners of LCS teams (Shopify Rebellion and Disguised, respectively), while MrBeast has publicly expressed interest in purchasing an esports team. This event serves as a bridge between casual, creator-driven content and the professional competitive scene, potentially introducing LoL to new audiences. For the creators involved, it’s an opportunity to engage with one of the world’s most popular games in a structured, yet entertaining, environment, capitalizing on the inherent drama and comedy that arises when high-profile personalities tackle a complex team-based game.

The tournament’s format is cleverly designed to maximize both fairness and entertainment value. By restricting Challenger-level players to a supporting role on low-impact champions, the event prevents any single expert from dominating the matches, placing a greater emphasis on team coordination and the unpredictable performances of the newer players. This setup promises chaotic, memorable moments that are perfect for streaming content. For fans, it offers a fresh take on competitive League of Legends, away from the ultraaa-serious professional circuit, and instead focuses on the fun, community-driven aspect of gaming. The event is poised to be a landmark in content creator collaborations, showcasing how online personalities can generate massive, engaging events that resonate across multiple fanbases.
